Barack Obama promised to cut taxes for 95% of Americans, but 40% of Americans pay no taxes. When asked about that, a Democrat operative said the 40% would get tax credits. It was pointed out to her that tax credits are used to reduce taxes -- you can't reduce taxes for those who don't pay them. Similary, calling the largesse a tax rebate doesn't work. A new word is needed for the money to be handed out by the giverment. Barackfare, husseinfare, and obamafare were rejected. Barfare™ it is. Pronounced barf' air.

When I heard about barfare, I was flying between Cincinnati and St. Louis. On Barf Air, no less. It was the bumpiest flight I've ever been on. When I asked the stewardess if it was her regular route or if she was being punished, she said she was being punished regularly. . . . No, it didn't have anything to do with S&M, not as far as I know. I suppose it's possible, though, and that she was being doubly clever. |
