Blair's acting career peaked with that performance, for which she received an Academy Award nomination -- the nomination coming shortly after her 15th birthday. Blatty's career peaked with the book, but he had a much better run in the entertainment field than Blair did. Blatty is now 80 and Blair will soon be 50. Godspeed to both.
