Royal Canadian Mounties to Americans. Properly designated as RCMP for Royal Canadian Mounted Police (or Gendarmerie royale du Canada) for Canadians. I guess I've seen that 1952 Tyrone Power "Canadian Mounties" potboiler too many times.
