One whose raison d'etre is sardonicism. One who sets out to be sour, sore, severe, sullen, snotty, snippy, snooty, sneering, snobbish, stinging, slashing, scoffing, scathing, scornful, sarcastic, and supercilious. Not defined anywhere else I could find, but the construction is so obvious it has been used several times as an internet phonynym.

I can't understand why she wants to be a sardonicist.
Maybe it's because she had an unhappy childhood. Maybe it's because no one liked her and she had no friends. Her sardonicism is probably a way to disguise her own feelings of inadequacy at being so unlikeable. Since she can't make any friends, anyway, why not try to make it appear as if she doesn't want any friends? Or maybe she's just trying to appeal to other misanthropes? |
