A phenomenon that impairs one's ability to accurately judge the attractiveness of the opposite sex due to being restricted to a vicinity containing a limited number of women or men. Typically occurring at the workplace, the result is that those being surveyed are now regarded as far more attractive than they would be outside the area. Suggested by "beer goggles."
