A pejorative term used to describe a trailer park usually in poor, unkempt condition and often occupied by working class people -- seasonal employees and construction workers who build or work in swanky, high class resorts, hotels, and restaurants, etc. whose residents and clientle are very affluent. The aluminum ghetto residents usually commute long distances to and from their work places.
