AttentionShoppers! are people who shamelessly promote their books, movies, shows, their celebrity, and their body parts, in any paper, magazine, TV, or radio show that might advance what they or their publicists conceive as their careers or wellbeing. Examples: Pamela Anderson promoting her breasts on TV recently with more gusto than a Dutch doorway prostitute, or Maureen Dowd tripping over herself to flog her book in interviews like a deathcamp executioner
trying to get the whole six million in before the good times are over. Much the same as an attention whore.
