(pronounced with the hard /g/ of grape, not the /dz/ of giant)(n.) Any sticky, viscous fluid: jam, honey, heavy motor oil, wet tar, rubber cement (while still a liquid), and the like, especially when spilled onto something upon which it doesn't belong. [I have no idea where or how this word got into my vocabulary, but it's fairly common in ordinary family usage at our house.]
