A political creature of the radical or near-radical left who is always spouting something about social justice or economic justice for the dispossessed or for workers or for . . . whatever crowd is being played to on a particular day. You know what my problem is with so-called workers and the working class? The fact that so many won't stay off their lazy asses long enough to work for more than a few months every year.
Ever stopped to pick up one of those guys holding up a sign that says, in a nearly illegible scrawl, "Homeless. Will work for food." I have. Several times. Not one was willing to work. Not. One. They don't want a job. They want a handout. Screw 'em.
I'll gladly help those who truly need help -- if they'll accept a hand up. What I won't do willingly is support the shiftless.

What used to be a tolerable political party has been taken over by social justicists. | If you have a job and are making anywhere near a decent living, be sure to keep one hand on your purse, girls, and one hand on your wallet, boys. The social justicists are coming to take it away. If you think for more than a picosecond that anywhere near 95% of working Americans are going to pay less in taxes the next three years than they paid the last three years, think again. It ain't agonna happen. Not if you remain gainfully employed and continue to earn anywhere near what you have been earning. One particular tax may go down, but it's going to be more than offset by another one going up. Mark. My. Words.
When did it become the federal government's job to rebuild America's infrastructure -- by increasing federal taxes and then redistributing wealth through public works projects. Federal tax money to repair pothole-laced city streets and crumbling bridges and sewers? You betcha.
