Not only is it not having a clue as in having NO information at all, but it's even WORSE than that. It is having erroneous information that one believes to be accurate -- barking up the wrong tree incessantly, ill-informed and unaware of it, often accompanied by stubborn insistence and a closed mind unwilling to change its way of thinking.
